Photo Shoot

Ironically, it takes me less time to getting ready for church without Jeremy here. Since he had to work today, we had some extra time on our hands, so we had a photo shoot. I tried to get some naked baby shots of Maggie to capture her lusciousness. Then, I put her in her church clothes and snapped a few. Mason always gets jealous, so I knew I would be able to get a few of him, too. I never imagined he would be up for a costume change and smile. Finally, some great shots of my little man!

Love those big blue eyes!

Upgrade!

With any home, they are never perfect.  Our new home has great space and an amazing location, but some of the interior choices were poor.  It always amazes me what a little paint can do.  The kids bathroom had peach walls with a terrible shower curtain, who knows what kind of vinyl, and hideous white pulls.
I know the shower curtain isn't much better, but the WALLS! And maybe the floors are growing on me but they don't seem nearly as ugly.  They will get replace down the road or when I find that money tree :)
Oh yeah, I changed the pulls too.
The laundry room was the same lovely peach.
Thanks to Pinterest, for some inpiration, it is now a bright aqua.  I still need to change the light out but I don't mind doing the laundry so much anymore.

Family Update

I think Spring is finally here!  We are busy getting settled into our new home.  The kids love having a playroom, Jeremy loves the big 3 car garage and well I love the laudry room, big kitchen and room to run away from the chaos :).  We are meeting all our new neighbors, everyone is really friendly and have created a great community here to raise a family.

We have also been busy with "bucaball" season.  Mason is still obsessed with baseball.  We took him to a Sky Sox game last week and Friday night to Rockies vs Mets.  He cheered the whole game for both teams.  He loved getting to play t-ball in the left field fan zone.  He also discovered his love for Cracker Jacks.
He was so excited to go.  He was decked in all his Mets gear.

Lastly, but certainly not least, Maggie's update.  She had her 6 month doctor's appointment on Friday.  She is a very healthy girl.  She weighed 19 lbs 14oz, 95 percentile and was 28 1/2 inches long, 99 percentile.  She is quite the princess around here.  She can't stand to be left alone and loves to be the center of attention.  Her best friend is Mason.  He can walk in the room and she lights up and starts laughing.  I love riding in the car with them.  I don't know what they do in the backseat but all I hear is laughter from both of them and it is the sweetest thing!  She's a terrible sleeper, still.  She wakes up anywhere from 1 to 3 times a night, but she's a great napper.  I asked the doctor and told me to cut her naps, so we will see.  She is rolling all over the place, and gets in the crawling position, so I'm sure she will take off any day.

Apparently chubby babies snuggle with their bottles.

BUCABALL

Saying Mason is obsessed with baseball is an understatement. He plays everyday, carries a bat, ball and glove nearly everywhere, and would rather watch it than cartoons. His favorite team is the New York Mets, just like Daddy. Maggie and I are just thrown into. So, today I decided to do a photo shoot while everyone was in a good mood and in their baseball gear. Oh yeah, "bucaball!" Mason can say baseball but one of his 1st words was bucaball, so when he gets excited he still calls it bucaball. I love it and dread the day he stops calling it that.

It was also a lot of fun to play with my photo editing.  I have to admit, I think I'm getting pretty good!

Mason's Almost Birthday

Mason is just like his mother, when it comes to holidays.  I get so excited have to start early to drag them out.  Mason takes it to a whole new level, he is still asking me to sing "Santa Song." He also talks about Santa anytime you tell him he's a good boy.  But his 2nd birthday is on Saturday and he's doing this in his usual style.  Saturday, he asked GaGa to make him a cake, when she gave him a slice, he looked at her and said "candles," then made us all sing "Happy Birthday" to him.  So today when he had a playdate with his friend Beau, I thought a fun activity for the boys would be to decorate cupcakes.

And then of course another round of "Happy Birthday" and candles.

While Mason and Beau played, Maggie hung out with her BFF, Kiera.
Mason was also so enamored with Beau and his potty training, Mason joined in.  He went and got his Big Boy Underwear out and put them on (on top of his pants).  What a nut, but I love that he kind of looks like a super hero :)

Snow Days

YAY, snow day! We finally started getting snow in the last few weeks.  Mason, Reese and Daddy have had a ball playing in it.  Last week we had so much Mason could barely walk through it and Reese had to run through the snow banks.

Before Daddy got home from work to take Mason outside, I had my own snow day fun with a Mississippi State photo shoot with the kids.
Maggie is definitely Miss Photogenic!

Maggie loves to buddle up and go for rides!
