First trip to Breckenridge

We woke up this morning and decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather with a ride to the mountains.

Mason's 1st Christmas

Leading up to Christmas Mason spent lots of time with friends and family. This is Mason and his best friend and girlfriend, Jacie.Christmas morning we woke up to see Santa filled the tree!
One of Mason's favorite presents was the big boy chair Santa brought.

After opening presents, Mason got dressed and headed back to his chair and really was interested in his new toys.Today, Mason was really wanting to play with his new toys. One of his favorites is his Little Zoomers.

Unfortunately he just can't figure out why it will spin his cars but not him!

9 month update

Mason had his 9 month check up yesterday. He is 18 lbs 15 oz, 25 percentile for weight and 28.5 inches, 60 percentile for height. He is very mobile and into everything. Most recently he has learned how to crawl up and down the stairs. His favorite song is "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and he now puts his hands on his hed when we get to the part about the sun. He is Mommy's buddy; wherever she is he is not far behind, neither is he Monk Monk.

He helps with the laundry.

He found the toilet paper.
He even helps with the dishes.

A Day in the Life of Mason

Mason is a busy little boy. He took his first step this week. But still no teeth. So as we begin to count down the days until Thanksgiving and Christmas, we thought it would be fun to take everyone through a typical day with Mason.
When Mason wakes up he is ready to go. Mason likes to climb the stairs.

Mason crawls all over the living room and loves to climb over anyone or anything in his way. He is pulling up and standing on his own.
He eats all the time! He loves to eat what Mommy and Daddy are eating too.
After eating Mason takes a poop.
Then Mason takes a nap. "Daddy I'm so tired!"
After nap time, I play with Daddy. When it's time for a bath, I try to climb in all by myself.
I love playing in the tub! After bath time I cuddle with Mommy and go to bed!

Happy Halloween!

Friday night we took Mason to our gym, Villasport, for their Halloween festivities. He had so much fun and even had a little date time with his girlfriend, Jacie.
Mason had to be a shark since his favorite game is one Mommy made up, "Surfin', Surfin', Surfin'...SHARK!"

Mason also got a little workout in while we were there.

On Halloween, both grandmas came by to see him off Trick-or-Treating.

Life as an 8 month old

On Monday the 18th, Mason will be 8 months old. How the time flies! Mason is a master crawler, he pulls up on everything and these two traits combined make him a climber. He can climb up someone sitting on the floor to get on the couch, and climbs up the 1st stair. He loves standing and is starting to let go for a few seconds before plopping to the floor. It won't be long before he is a walker. We weighed him at home, he's about 18 1/2 lbs, but he's so long 9 month clothes are snug, so he's starting to where 12 months. He babbles Da-Da but doesn't know what he is saying yet. He claps all the time and can give a high-five. And last but not least, he's still a toothless wonder.
He finally loves bath time.
