Playing at the Pool

Mason had a great day playing with his Memaw at the pool.
He's gotten so brave since the beginning of summer. He started by barely dipping his toes and hanging by the edge of the shore. Now he walks until he can't touch and "swims."

Watch out Mommy, I'm going to get you!

Memaw and Mason swimming.

I love you Memaw!

Mason's Moving to Big Boy Room

After a long weekend of hard work, we have results. Jeremy and I cleaned out the "office" and made room to move Mason. He seemed right at home in his toddler bed once he had his Monk and blanket.

He even tried laying down.We also took some dressers from J's parents and refinished them. It is pretty cool Mason's dressers were once his uncle's, Daddy's and Papa's. I hope he treats them well!

This was earlier this week, but so cute I had to include it. Mason loves his Woody towel.

Officially a Toddler

So we are out of baby mode (temporarily) and are a full fledged toddler. Mason is starting to test Mommy and Daddy, has about 50 words, runs and climbs, and of course can throw an Academy Award winning temper tantrum.

It's a good thing he is cute! Here he is riding Hopps. No riding the dog is not frowned upon in our establishment. Here is Mason rocking his black eye.Mason still loves to show his love, especially for Daddy. He loves kisses. This picture represents all things Mason without any words.
He also is quite the dancer.

Family Trip to Boston

A view of downtown Boston from Hull, MA.

We went to Hanover, MA to visit Jeremy's grandma, aunt, uncle and cousins. We had a great visit full of quality family time and lots of great eats. We also got to do some sightseeing. Here are some pictures from our trip to the aquarium on Boston Harbor.

Mason really liked to watch the penquins.
And of course the fish and octopus (he can say both!).

Grandpa Larry and Grandma Linda with Great Grandma Marge.

Apparently Paul Revere is a Bruins fan.

Jeremy in Hull, MA at the Fort.

Mason and Daddy after a great lunch at the Lobster Hut.

We also go to celebrate Grace and Emma's 8th birthday party at roller skating rink. Mason loved the music and dancing with Mommy.

Mason made his way out the floor and was doing his countdown for who knows what!

We had a great day with our close friends Stephanie and Beau Bennetts today. We went to the splash pool, lunch at Chick-Fil-A and then back home to play with Mason's toys.

Mason rocked his Spiderman outfit today...sooo cute! Thanks Memaw!

Beau loved Mason's four-wheeler, he was a natural and fearless!

I just hope they are this good with their little siblings on the way!

Jeremy's Birthday and recently

Friday, Jeremy celebrated his 30th birthday. We had some family and friends join us to help him not feel so old.

Daddy got Mason a t-ball set for his birthday. I think he's a natural!Daddy finally got around to putting together Mason's cozy coupe. It's a huge hit, but I can't wait until it's warm enough for him to play outside with it.

Florida!

Mason and I had went with Memaw (my mom) to Florida for vacation. Daddy met us down there after he wrapped a work meeting. We had lots of fun playing in our condo. It had a great veiw of the pool and green space. Mason loved playing on the screened in patio. Mason mastered walking shortly before our trip so he was off and running most of the time.
Memaw taught him how important it is to brush your teeth. I'm not sure he was intersted in that or just playing in the sink.
Mason had to try on some birthday mouse ears.
And Mommy had to be a bride to celebrate Jeremy and my 3rd anniversary. I still do!
Mason rode his 1st Merry-Go-Round. He actually liked it at the end he laughed but he was taking it all in here.Mason was very concerned in the T-Rex Cafe..."Memaw, I'm not sure about these dinosaurs."
Memaw, Mommy, Mason, Aunt Lana and Connor all took a day to play at Universal Studios (Island of Adventure). Mason loved the Dr. Seuss area. He was able to crawl, walk and play.
Mason riding a Dr. Seuss Cow.
Streching those legs!
After all the playing Mason passed out. Thank goodness for Monk.
Connor's favorite part was The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Here is Memaw, Aunt Lana and Connor with the Harry Potter Castle in the background.

Mason loved the pool at our condo. Unfortunately it was pretty chilly while we were there but he was able to enjoy it one day!
Mason and Memaw were so tired they took a nap in the hammock.
Mason also fell and got his 1st boo boo while we where there.
Once Daddy arrived we went to Disney World.
Memaw, Mommy and Mason.
Our little family.
In Mickey's Toon area they had a great place for little ones to explore. What's in there Mason?
We got to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse. (please excuse our photographer)
Mason liked Mickey's ears so much he tried on his own.
Mason and Daddy playing in Mickey's store.
Mommy with Minnie ears on.

We ended our week with a trip to Daytona. I got Jeremy tickets to the Budweiser Shootout for his 30th birthday (coming up, March 4th).
This is all the drivers before the race.

Gotta love Jr.
